Big Run Media Announces Partnership with The Children’s Heart Foundation: Congenital Heart Walk

BALTIMORE – Big Run Media, a full-service branding, social media and creative design agency announced today that it will manage the digital marketing efforts for The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF) walk series, the Congenital Heart Walk. With more than twenty different Congenital Heart Walks scheduled nationwide in 2019, the series raises funds in support of CHF’s mission, to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects (CHDs). Big Run Media will be responsible for managing the series’ digital marketing throughout the year, including the development and creation of social media campaigns, associated design work, and advertisements. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Congenital heart defects are problems present at birth that affect the structure and function of the heart. There are many types of CHDs, which can affect the lining, blood vessels, chambers, and valves of the heart. Congenital heart defects are the #1 birth defect in the United States. Every 15 minutes a baby is born with a CHD in the U.S. alone – that’s nearly one in 100 live births or 40,000 babies each year. An estimated 2 to 3 million Americans are living with CHDs.

The Congenital Heart Walk series is the largest walk series solely dedicated to CHD research, uniting supporters of The Children’s Heart Foundation from around the country, to help fund CHD research that improves survival, longevity, and quality of life for the community.
