(see the Cancer Don’t Care logo above) This year the fundraiser is centered around a 10 hour cycling event. When Lora asked about getting a new logo we were pumped up to use a bicycle theme. Wheels were literally spinning on this creative challenge. Thomas sketched out cranks, chain links, wheels, and pedals. All of the logo options used the blood drop from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society logo as an element of the design. We ended up using the blood drop as the negative space in the stylized crankset. When designing a logo you should always consider where the logo may end up. This logo will work well digitally, in printed materials, screen print apparel, and even on a medal. The limited 
colors make it affordable to reproduce. The logo can be reduced down to one color and still maintains it’s look. We sent two choices to Lora that stood out from the rest of the designs. Lora chose the treatment above for the event.
