Press Release: Annapolis Running Classic
BALTIMORE, April 15, 2015 – Big Run Media, a full service branding, social media marketing, and creative design agency, announced today that it was named the social media agency of record for The Annapolis Running Classic, a 501(c)3 organization and multi distance running event headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland. Big Run Media will be responsible for the overall positioning of the brand, including the development and creation of integrated social media marketing campaigns, design and thought leadership positioning. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 2011, The Annapolis Running Classic has put on a half marathon and a 10k that runs through the beautiful naval town of Annapolis, Maryland. The race starts and finishes at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. The runners receive top quality premiums in apparel, medals, and a legendary post-race party. The party includes award winning soup, OYSTERS, Fordham beers, other beverages, and live music.
The Annapolis Running Classic has also donated over $200,000.00 to Annapolis charities in its short existence. A strong desire to put on a world class event and to give back to the community is paramount in The Annapolis Running Classic’s mission.
